Dynamic Facades

The facade design is a component of the urban system that makes up the building. In particular, considering public or industrial buildings or even offices on significant avenues and streets, this is a critical component. For a layman, the visual influence of any structure is often concerned with the greatness of the structures, their aesthetics, their uniqueness, and how captivating it is apart from the amount invested by the corporations in it. To top it all off, individuals are becoming increasingly conscious of their surrounding environment and prefer sustainable and environmentally friendly concepts and designs.

The contemporary surfaces of architecture are categorized into dynamic and static through the use of material and technology in a given set of boundaries and conditions. The envelope of the building works like a skin, an interface between the interior and the outside. With the support of engineered solutions, this skin has evolved; the goal of façade design is to help Sustainable and Sensitive Architecture advance. The dynamic facades serve as filters between the interior and the outside, making it easier for users to provide sufficient shade, sunshine, ventilation, and a visual union with the outside world in motion. Here are different types of facade designs.

Dynamic Façade User-Control

The way the dynamic façade functions is by electronic controls inside the building that can control each of the 54 motors within the façade individually. It is a simple technology that does not require any form of sensitive device and only responds to the feedback of the occupants of the building. The facade itself acts as a shading device, but the angle of the panel and the amount of light transmitted into the interior space can be controlled by users.

Light Projection Dynamic Facade

For us, Unstudied has set a good example that we can tell the zones of different resolution as well as detail using the light back projection. The building enclosure technique consists of the development of an optical illusion. On top of a back layer of composite aluminium cladding, the facades feature two layers of customized aluminium extrusion profiles. The top layer's vertical profiles are straight, but the back layer's profiles are bent.

Wind Responsive Dynamic Façade

In addition to the three types of dynamic façade, the wind-responsive acp dynamic façade is our third dynamic façade type in the category. The wind is itself powerful enough as a natural element to provide a complex pattern of motion without wasting any energy.

Seasonal Green Dynamic Façade

Facade companies in India incorporate the greenery to make the façade sensitive to the four seasons as one of the dynamic façades. A facade without a high-technology framework can be complex.

While the exterior could be as fascinating as it could be, it inevitably comes down to the costly issue. Energy is required to operate these complex devices in order to be able to sustain certain conditions, resulting in ever-higher operating costs due to the ascending trend in energy prices.
